What happens when an artist and a programmer wants to make games together? They quit their jobs and create GameLoom Studio!
GameLoom Studio is a tiny studio primarily focusing on making games for PC. With six games out already, and two more planned - expect more to come.
Meet Jens (a.k.a. Kipt) - the opinion-oriented programmer. Does he do game programming? Yes. Does he do his own game engines? Yes. Does he refuse to ship games that contain other people's code? Yes. Does he spend his free time programming and playing games? Yes. Is this the person you should blame for all the bugs? Yes. With over 20 years since he wrote his first "Hello World"-program, this is the person who makes the code work - no matter the platform. |
Meet Katja (a.k.a. Levke) - the GLoomy artist. Does she do game art? Yes. Does she do animations? Yes. Does she do music? Yes. Does she do 3D? Yes. Does she refuse to copy other people's work? Yes. Does she stress out? Yes. Does she use Photoshop, Maya, Illustrator? No. Images, animations, audio, music… if it's in the game, chances are she created it. |
